Full MEP management of multiple M&E Design Teams, ensuring the Cairn specific product requirements and expectations are met. Pre-Construction Management of all M&E Design Teams to ensure consistency and a standard approach to the M&E Design through all of Cairn Homes Developments. Strategic planning and effective look ahead to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems within the schemes, in line with handover sequence. Advise and assist the site construction management teams with respect to M&E processes, product and system selection and onsite risk mitigation. Management of the Cairn M&E function across multiple schemes, providing direction to site team to ensure best in class execution of the M&E installation. Coach and mentor Building Service Engineers to support future development. Provide hands-on guidance and support to the building services function as project dictates. Continuous management of the installation quality for M&E systems on projects, from initial coordination to final commissioning and handover. Oversight of M&E subcontractors onsite, ensuring programme, quality performance and expectations are met. Supplement the company's innovation and value engineering processes in consideration and implementation of best-in-class mechanical / electrical systems and products. Management and standardisation of the Temporary Electric / water systems designs to ensure efficiencies are gained. Liaising with the in-house Utility Coordinator to maintain oversight of third-party utility installation process.
- Continuous management and monitoring of the installation quality for M&E systems over various projects, during the various stages of the build process. - Support the site construction management teams in the coordination of on-site M&E installations and assist with onsite problem solving if and when issues arise. - Co-ordinate with project design teams as required. - Supervision of M&E sub-contractors onsite, ensuring programme and quality expectations are achieved. - Liaise with Public Utility providers to ensure timely delivery of electricity, gas, water and telecommunications services to new developments acting as a point of contact for the respective sites. - Anticipate the requirement for modification of existing site services and expedite mains service diversions in conjunction with the Utility Providers. - Assisting with the utility application process and liaising with local authorities where required. - Supplement the company’s innovation process in consideration and implementation of best-in-class mechanical / electrical systems and products.
- Project Planning and cost control over multiple sites in Ireland and Europe. Residential, Commercial & Data Centres. - Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget. - Visit site to survey projects and meet clients. - Labour and materials procurement and management. - Building Health & Safety files for projects. Method Statements, Risk Assessments etc. - Allocate manpower to carry out projects in a time and cost efficient manner. - Order equipment for projects. - Liaise with client and/or consulting engineer relating to any technical issues. - Project valuation/claims for each project. - Send quotations for any variations on projects. - Project manage our subcontractors. - Manage all safety issues with staff and any other items to do with manpower. - Manpower resource histograms for future projects. - Recruitment for all installation positions.
