Al Boom Marine was founded in Kuwait in 1987 with operations commencing in the UAE in 1990. Al Boom Marine is proud to currently operate 40 retail outlets and more than 200 wholesale accounts across the GCC and has over 300 employees. I manage and operate the Cycling Distribution business supplying the GCC's cycling industry with bicycles, apparel and equipment. I currently manage 30+ accounts and am responsible for business development, contract negotiation, range design and development, pricing structure and account management. I oversee all aspects of the business to ensure a successful outcome is achieved for all. Current brands include Giant, Bianchi, Argon 18, Sportful, Goodyear and other cycle specific brands
perations Officer – my Job Description entails the following: • Contacting agencies in the different countries getting their import/export requirements and all the permits that are needed. • Dealing with my clients on a daily basis to provide them with feedback. • Getting all certificates and paperwork ready and making sure all is attested and certified by the Ministry of environment and water authority. • Organizing the shipments flight details, AWB (Air Way Bill) for the transporting of the shipments to the different destinations. I also Track them from start to finish. • On import side I do the Pick-up and Deliveries as well as handle all paperwork at the airport dealing with the customs broker and customs. • Assisting other departments and work with clients on a daily basis • Doing marketing to broaden the client basis of the company • Creating surveys to get feedback from current clients and implement structures to improve their experience. • Working closely with other companies to create new business opportunities and broaden both companies client base. • Setting up new structures to simplify current procedures and bettering service to all our clients.
Was in charge of the Rugby team and coaching the UJ-Barbarians team. The team consisted of the best players in the league who combined to play against other university sides. Also assisted the coaching staff of the University's 3rd team during the league wins in 2012 and reaching the final in 2013.
Coaching a variety of Rugby teams and sharing the knowledge of the game to the youth.
