Senior Design Engineer in New Product Development with experience delivering professional-grade power tools from concept through production. I lead a team of cross functional employees whos focus is on the improvement and acquisition of candidates from one university. I work with the team to organize campus events, recruiting outreach, candidate interviews, and miscellaneous student focused activities. Additionally, I support my team in the continuous development and improvement of the students' curriculum from an industry perspective.
New Product Development: Drive a cross functional team of global and US engineers to create new to world and next generation power tools. Responsible for overseeing and conducting a range of tasks to support the development of new power tools and technologies.
Worked to support all wave tank operations, as well as continuous wave tank improvements. Also assist various research teams with CAD modeling and Simscape model conversions.
Assist staff and students with various manufacturing projects ranging from senior design work to lab maintenance.
Worked on the NEXTCar project at the APS labs. The project included working with a multidisciplinary team of graduate students to design, fabricate, and execute various tests with the goal of testing various aspects of a hybrid electric vehicles systems both with and without new technologies being developed by the team.
Responsibilities included, but not limited to, designing, constructing, and conducting testing for the development and continued improvement of new and existing product. As well as, conduct UL certification testing with the goal of obtaining new certifications and conducting AMCA certification testing for both new certifications and check tests of existing products.
Tasked with maintaining a secure campus such that the client and visitors were able to complete their jobs without interruption.
Provided visibility, patrol, assistance, and county emergency contacts for all staff, students, faculty, and guests of the College.
