Testified before the Oregon State Senate in support of Senate Bill 854 (2022), a bill to require place-based climate education in Oregon schools. Designed and spearheaded the implementation of commercial composting at West Salem High School. Developed project proposals and mentored eight schools across Oregon as they pursued cafeteria waste reduction initiatives. Organized food waste audit at West Salem HS in partnership with Marion County. Filmed promotional and educational videos that amassed more than 4000 views.
