About

I joined the Museum Rietberg in Zurich in 2001 and was appointed Curator of Indian Art in 2006. In 2009, I assumed the role of Head of the Curatorial Department. I currently serve as Deputy Director and am a member of the museum’s management team. Alongside my institutional responsibilities, I regularly act as a consultant for the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the German Research Foundation. I also serve as a reviewer for several leading academic journals, including the *Journal of Asian Studies*. In 2025, I was appointed Managing Director of the GBF Foundation for Cooperative Research on South and Southeast Asian Art.
