As Head of Real Estate for LKQ DACH, I am responsible for managing the entire property portfolio across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Leading a team of dedicated specialists, we oversee all aspects of Corporate Real Estate Management, including Facility Management, Construction Management, and Asset Management. Our responsibilities include the strategic rollout and centralization of FM services, managing construction projects ranging from minor refurbishments to multimillion-euro developments, and handling all lease agreements as well as property acquisitions and disposals. My position is part of LKQ Europe’s international senior Real Estate team, where we jointly manage the European real estate portfolio and define standards and best practices for our operations across all regions. In addition to my real estate responsibilities, I also serve as Head of Sustainability for LKQ DACH. In this role, I drive the company’s sustainability strategy by developing our regional commitments, structuring initiatives, and supporting the global sustainability team in reporting according to ESRS, CSRD, and other relevant frameworks. Main achievement in 2025 hast been certificating the company for ISO 50001. LKQ DACH, a leading wholesale distributor of automotive parts, operates more than 180 properties across the German-speaking region.
