PLM consultant with practical experience in designing and delivering innovative technical and business process solutions for large retailers.
Responsible for a technical portfolio within the mechanical team of the procurement department. My responsibilities reach across the entire procurement process for both locally sourced and imported materials through SAP ERP systems. Items are procured according to the requisition and in line with various technical standards. The main focus being quality and speed, whilst maintaining cost containment and savings. I procure for various business units within the Sasol Group, with spend in excess of R100 million annually and I have achieved an average verified savings/cost avoidance of 3% per annum.
