Integration of various datasources into the discovery system primo. Maintenance of the ILS to build a better user experience.
Analysis of metadata generation and management workflows of an publisher in the IT domain. Exploration of tools and possibilities for automated metadata generation, esp. to describe contents and to generate recommendations for "further-reading". I developed suggestions to reorganize the information architecture of the publisher. Close collaboration with the internal development team to improve their customized content management systems.
In charge of metadata and interoperability issues. My research covers ontology engineering and semantic web technologies and has a focus on the audio-visual domain and non-fictional films.
