I am one of the directors at the Max Planck Institute for Physics, Munich (MPP). There I lead a research group currently consisting of about 15 postdocs, PhD students, master students, as well as a science coordinator and a secretary. Our research is supported by the Max Planck Society, as well as by an ERC Synergy Grant 'UNIVERSE+: Positive Geometry in Particle Physics and Cosmology', see www.positive-geometry.com. We also coordinate a Max Planck-Center, a joint venture between Max Planck Society, the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and National Taiwan University.
Built up a research group in theoretical elementary particle physics. Wrote a successful research proposal for a European Research Council Consolidator Grant (2000 kEUR). Johannes Gutenberg Fellowship (approx 800 kEUR). Coordinator of French-German PhD exchange in theoretical particle physics.
Postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Natural Sciences, at the world leading research institute for theoretical physics. Regular invitations to international conferences and to give lectures at PhD schools.
Wrote research papers and presented them at international conferences. Co-supervised a MSc student and PhD students.
PhD studies at LAPTH (Laboratoire d'Annecy-le-Vieux de Physique Théorique).
