Consulting in the program "East Africa Network of Excellence for Universities of Applied Sciences". My focus in this project was on strengthening the links between universities and the renewable energy sector.
Establishing and maintaining a sustainability management system based on the EMASplus standard; Continuous improvement of the sustainability performance of the organisation through implementing new green technologies (e.g. photovoltaic plant, charging stations for electric cars, smart heating systems etc). Monitoring and evaluation of sustainability projects according to EMASplus. Moderation of sustainability workshops, performance indicators, training courses and sustainability reporting. Budgeting and finance management for the environmental division.
Supporting the environmental management, quality management and business development in order to gain a competitive advantage with innovative sustainable technologies (e.g bluesign label for textiles, energy saving through new technologies, etc.).
