As a Senior Operations Manager at T-Systems, I lead the CDS / TRE Team (Cross Domain Services), which plays a crucial role in supporting DevOps teams by optimizing daily operations and increasing efficiency. This team ensures the seamless operation of backend systems for connected vehicles in the automotive industry, especially in the SDV (software defined vehicle) area. As a shared service team working for multiple customers, we enhance efficiency by centralizing expertise and streamlining cross-functional support. Our structure includes: - Process Support Team – Managing Major Incidents & ITIL processes - Domain Expert Team – Specialists in databases, monitoring, automation, cloud engineering and other key areas - 24/7 AppSupport Team – Always online to provide first and second level operational support - Software Maintenance Team – Maintaining legacy software no longer in development With a strong DevOps mindset, we focus on automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence - empowering DevOps teams to work more efficiently and drive innovation in the automotive sector.
