Supported strategic work on carbon removal policy, including collaboration on a BCG co-authored study presented at a high-level Bundestag event and policy briefs on marine CDR and methane removal.
Conducted research on velocity divergence in modelling Antarctic ice shelves using the Julia package Oceananigans for the SUNSET project at BAS and the University of Cambridge. Supervised by Dr. Bethan Wynne-Cattanach.
Conducted research on dynamical low-rank approximation for radiation transport. My work focused on assessing the impact of the advection, scattering, and absorption terms on the existence of a low-rank solution, for which I carried out numerical experiments in Julia. I was funded by the NHR (National High-Performance Computing Center) guest scientist programme.
Trained a cohort of young students in competitive debate for the 2024 World Schools Debating Championships in Belgrade, Serbia and previously for the 2023 edition in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Represented Germany at the World Schools Debating Championships, the most prestigious high school-level debating competition, from 2020 to 2022.
