More than 30 years of experience in international airport consulting, airport know how transfer and airport privatisations.
I was one of the founders of the company in 1992 after collecting international experience in consulting Banks, Insurer, Retailers, Manufacturers, Manufacturer of branded products, etc. during the previous 15 years. Today, after renaming Airport Consulting Vienna (ACV) to Airport Competence (AC) in 2022, the company is an international airport consultant providing services on 5 continents and in more than 50 countries all over the world. We participated in more than 600 consultancy projects plus more than 120 airport transactions as advisors, bid managers and investors. In 25 projects our group was awarded the project totalling an investment of € 28 billion. We have tremendous experience in evaluating airport opportunities and support the investors also post-award on Technical Service Agreement (TSA) basis to quarantee the results of the business plan on which the investment was based. End of 2024 I sold my shares to ARX Group and retired from the Managing Director position supporting Airport Competence as an Strategic Advisor. As Strategic Airport Expert I am available to support airport companies and airport investors in repositioning the airport strategy. I believe this is more important then in the past due to substantial changes in the aviation market, increasing competition between airports, rapidly increasing digitalisation and the growing challenge of "green airports" and business opportunities in landside development (e.g. Airport City, Industrial Park, etc.).
