Besides my payed job, I write science fiction and fantasy stories. I am the author of more than thirty books and have edited several anthologies. My short stories have been published in science fiction journals and in short story collections. After a thorough education in the biomedical sciences, I've specialised in writing for (animal) health professionals. Translating complicated subjects into understandable articles is what I love best in this line of work, coupled with editing others' articles to reach a greater understandability and better flow in the work..
I'm the editor for Tijdschrift voor Diergeneeskunde - the Dutch Veterinary Journal - biweekly - publishes peer reviewed scientific articles, interviews, commentary and company information I prepare articles for publication and write articles myself, often based on interviews.
I'm the author of several books. The most recent one to appear is the fantasy novel 'De Krakenvorst', boek 1: Keruga, slated to be published in december 2016. May 2017 will see the publication of my first short story collection 'Conquistador'. The second book in the 'De Krakenvorst' duology will appear in december 2017.
I worked for one journal: Pharmaceutisch Weekblad - a weekly journal for pharmacists. Writing articles about the pharmaceutical science and pharmacists.
