I'm a versatile full stack web and software developer, working professionally since 2011 in various organisations, in different industries (publishing, education, healthcare, retail etc), with mostly open source tech (PHP, JS/TS, C#, Go). I prefer modern cloud based environments (Linux containers on AWS/GC/ADO) over classic VPS solutions and Bash scripting. Teamlead for a small (4 person) product development team, in charge of planning tasks and enabling development. As a developer I worked on refining, extending and refactoring a rather complex set of Go applications using gRPC, protobufs, GraphQL on Postgresql and MongoDB as persistence layers. I also worked on some frontend tasks using Typescript in React. I worked on both the OSS (network hardware) and BSS (SaaS offering) side of things, in tasks and as well as short projects.
As a consultant at Cygni I've worked remotely at large companies and government entities as a senior web developer on projects using .NET or JS frameworks, both backend and frontend. My role has mostly been supporting and coaching junior developers and building productive full-stack teams.
As lead developer at Direkttest, I was involved in planning, designing and developing new features and improving our existing platform for medical labs to fetch and submit samples and communicate with end users about results. During my time there I focused a lot on improving stability, scalability, and refactored and replaced old modules with new and added support for various API integrations, as well as revamped the apps' visual identity, look and feel.
