Team player used to work with people in multiple locations in a virtual set-up and used to work towards individual, departmental and company targets. Experience with products produced all over the world by company owned plants and third parties/CMO´s which means that I’m used to work in an international environment of suppliers, with regional procurement & planning teams and other centralized shared services. I have been an active team member in multifunctional and international project teams for new product launches and to integrate in one company acquisitions of other companies and brands. Other continuous improvement and / or cost reduction projects I have been involved in are: - Regional (EAME) implementation of standard Sales & Operational Planning process (handbook on the intranet, workshops and training in the local marketing companies) - Creation of a worldwide e-course for the S&OP process and roll out in the local marketing companies - New product introductions and Regulatory status changes (e.g. from Rx to OTC) and legal entity changes. - SAP R/3, APO and other Planning Systems implementations - Warehouse moves and creation of new warehouses (e.g. satellite warehouses on the Canary Islands and Iberian Hub) - Creation of an Iberian Supply Chain team
- Drive the monthly Global and Regional S&OP process, starting upstream from Local Demand inputs by Customer to a consolidated Global Demand & Supply Consensus plan (IBP) - Support the Supply Chain CMO Management team by providing consensus forecasts by SKU, and liaising regularly with other internal stakeholders like Commercial, Logistics, QA, RA and Finance teams. - Management of Customer orders, guaranteeing smooth and regular communication with customers to ensure the expected level of service. - Providing data analysis and reports on budgeted vs actual sales and other Supply Chain KPI´s like Forecast Accuracy, OTIF & LIFR, DOS & Inventory Value, SLOBS and Complexity to enable visibility to Senior Management and drive Continuous Improvement projects. - Supported SAP S/4HANA implementation across Supply Chain, enabling real-time visibility and process harmonization.
- Develop attainable Site Production plans in order to meet customer requirements for bulk and finished goods products. - Manage inventory levels in line with agreed targets and understand the drivers behind significant changes (i.e. specific markets, legal requirements, product developments and/or trends, slow moving / obsolete items). - Generate, develop, analyze, understand and implement the annual volume and financial plans and for the actual year and future periods. - Cross functional collaboration with internal / external stakeholders to maintain an optimum product portfolio (i.e. deletions, proliferation and new product introduction).
- Act as the bridge between Local Markets and Global Supply Chain Operations to ensure an end-to-end supply chain visibility and a good understanding of the Local business in the Regional organizations. - Improve & Drive the monthly S&OP process and assure KPIs are met (Service Levels, Forecast Accuracy and Inventory Levels). - Enforce the dialogue between Local Demand Planners & Business Unit Managers, Hub Supply Network Planners, Logistics, Finance Leads, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Global Franchises. - Key Stakeholder in Global projects like: “COMET” - Upgrade of SAP & APO, integration of the Schering Plough portfolio into MSD and Hub Integration (optimization of activities being performed between the Hubs located in Switzerland and the Netherlands). “DARWIN” - Successfully implemented and trained end-users on Kinaxis Rapid Response (both Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning modules) as the new End-to-End Supply Chain Global Operating Model & Tool, delivering real-time concurrent planning and scenario simulation capabilities.
Demand lead for Iberia, taking care of the execution of the local Sales & Operational Planning process together with the local Marketing, Sales and Finance teams based in Madrid and Lisbon. Member of the regional (EAME) Steering S&OP High Performance Team and responsible for the Iberian representation in the regional S&OP process (reviewing Sales & Marketing Performance, KPI results, Main Supply issues, New Product Introductions, Project updates and other relevant issues). Key stakeholder in the SAP-APO implementation during 2009 and 2010 and other projects like warehouse movements, creation of new warehouses, integration in the J&J portfolio of acquisitions of companies and brands, roll out of global S&OP e-course and creation of an Iberian Supply Chain team. Accountable for the departmental P&L and other operational KPI’s (mainly focused on Service, Inventory, Forecast accuracy and Complexity).
Managing the forecast process with Sales and Marketing. Taking care of the replenishment plans of finished goods produced by both J&J plants and 3rd parties including the inbound freight from the different production sites and distribution centres in Europe, USA and Asia. Planning of locally customized items (eg. promotional packs) Responsible for the procurement of non J&J products like consumables from (mainly) local suppliers.
