Was part of the original team that launched Rockstar Energy Drink in 2001. During his 18 year tenure at Rockstar, Joe was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Distribution, overseeing Distributor relationships, the internal Rockstar sales organization and National Account coverage. Some of the distributor partners he worked with over the years were Southern WIne & Spirits, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group (KDP), Coca-Cola Enterprise and Pepsi Bottling Company. Expertise includes successful corporate leadership role with strength in P&L management, sales, sales training, people discovery and development, and brand/product distribution, Business Strategy, Marketing, Innovation, Branding, Product Development, Industry Compliance, Strategic Negotiation and Contracts with Distributors/Retailers. Extensive experience and success at identifying and establishing distribution partners in North America. Deep understanding of consumer brands, distribution networks and retail partners throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to Rockstar, Joe was involved in various political campaigns and initiatives including Campaign Manager for California Governor, Gavin Newsom’s 2001 San Francisco Supervisor Campaign. Before politics, Joey was involved in the entertainment industry working for Don Johnson as an Executive Assistant for the television show Nash Bridges.
