“You manage things; you lead people." I believe when you truly lead people, not just work with them as line items on a spreadsheet or parts of a machine, you can accomplish extraordinary things. My life and career have been about leadership in various forms. I'm at my best identifying and setting strategy, building and orienting teams to drive it, and leading and developing the people that make the team and the strategy go. The most rewarding times in my life and career have been seeing my people -- and I regard them as "my people" in the best sense of the word -- not only accomplish the mission in front of us, but develop and grow to go on to greater things themselves.
I led the firm's Institutional sales team to drive new business development goals. In addition, I led the consultant relations team to introduce the firm's strategies and build and nurture mission critical relationships to gain and maintain business mandates.
