I work at the intersection of German as a Foreign Language, international education, AI-supported digital learning and cultural cooperation. ▸Current Role: Education Expert at Goethe-Institut Senegal As Education Expert in Dakar, I coordinate German educational cooperation, PASCH and BKD activities, teacher training and digital learning. I manage a network of ~200 schools with 16,000 learners and 15 regional multipliers (annual programme budget: ~€60,000). I organise FIT examinations at four PASCH schools, design teacher training formats and steer national networking events for German as a Foreign Language. ▸ Research Focus: AI & Digital Learning in African Education My current work centres on AI and digital learning in African education contexts. In the CITRA 2.0 Living Lab, I coordinate a participatory action research process with 29 German teachers as co-researchers, examining how AI-supported teaching can be implemented under real infrastructural conditions. In 2026, I represent Goethe-Institut Senegal in regional exchange on AI and digital learning, including a Goethe-Institut Ghana workshop in Accra and a presentation at eLearning Africa 2026. ▸ Previous Experience • 5 years as DAAD Lecturer at the Université de Dschang (Cameroon): teaching, DAAD library leadership, €30k third-party funding, international academic cooperation • Academic staff member at KIT: MOOCs, blended learning, project management (KIC InnoEnergy) • Visiting Assistant in Research at Yale University (Germanic Languages & Literatures) ▸ Academic Background & Doctorate My academic background combines German Studies, Media and Cultural Studies and International Education Management.
