I'm currently a Master's student at UNC, studying Information Science with a focus in Human Computer Interaction. Previous to my time at UNC, I had years of customer service experience during which I realized I wanted to pivot to UX/UI career where my practicality and creativity would shine. During my time at UNC, I gained core UX/UI skills. In terms of design aspect, I revamped the Graduate Professional Student Government website through WordPress and CSS. I also built a prototype wireframe for a digital wellness application through Figma. In terms of research, I conducted contextual inquiries at REX ED hospital through my System Analytics Internship, and created user journey & user personas on for the said digital wellness application. I've also gained technical skills of creating phishing simulation emails through my Information Security Internship, which gave me a better understanding of how to be successful in the UX/UI field where human-computer interaction is constantly studied.
