Hi I'm Joel! My first app is an iOS app to help poor conscripted army servicemen in Singapore countdown to the end of their service. It actually got pretty popular. I then developed a passion in frontend web development and have a little obsession with user interface design. In my free time I make YouTube videos, play the drums and try to dance.
TikTok Shop Drove 89% → 94% successful refund completions across 3.2M monthly requests by analyzing event tracking data and proposing targeted product optimizations. Migrated Order page to a Backend-For-Frontend (BFF) architecture leading to 60% improvement in development efficiency. Served as technical owner for Orders and Refund pages, coordinating 10 cross-functional team members to deliver scalable and performant features on-time.
