Singapore
I graduated from the National University of Singapore, Department of Geography with a keen interest in environmental and political issues. During my time in university, I was fortunate to have been able to access opportunities to study abroad in places such as Singapore, Thailand (Chiang Mai), and the UK (Loughborough). My experience in university has allowed me the strong critical thinking and research skills that I am able to bring to bear on all manner of topics and issues. It has also developed in me a habit of self-critique, as I strive to perform at the highest level possible. I was also privileged to have studied under committed tutors who have taught me how to read closely and write assiduously. Beyond the classroom, I have a curious mind, reading widely and deeply about many different issues, seeking out new scholarship on issues such as politics, economics, Fintech, and COVID 19 among others so that I might build up knowledge necessary for thinking critically about issues. I write about these issues as well, and am currently in the midst of planning for the publishing of my own Zine in the near future. I also engage in photography as a hobby, which was something I picked up during my National Service as a Production Media Technician with SAF. I also enjoy graphic design as a hobby.
