Industrial Engineer with over a decade of international experience in quality assurance, tourism management, sustainability auditing, and professional public relations with tourism organizations and corporations in the European, EMEA, North American, and Latin American markets. I hold a Master’s Degree in Tourism Economics and Management from the University of Bologna, accredited by UNWTO TedQual. My international academic journey has taken me to world leading institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania (a member of the prestigious Ivy League in the USA), the University of Bologna (Italy), and Universidad del Norte (Colombia). Through these experiences and activities in 45+ countries, I have gained a deep appreciation for multicultural environments and global perspectives. I am fully fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. I'm certified in French at the DELF B1 level and currently advancing my proficiency. I am passionate about the international tourism industry, its dynamics, and global contemporary challenges, with a strong advocacy for a more sustainable and inclusive tourism sector. Currently, I work as the Regional Membership Manager for Europe at the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA), the global authority of LGBTQ+ tourism and an affiliate member of the UNWTO. In this role, I promote LGBTQ+ inclusive tourism among travel organizations, government tourism authorities, and corporations, emphasizing the importance of inclusion and diversity in the industry.
