Operate ground handling equipment for the loading/unloading of an international cargo aircraft, including cargo and belt loaders, lift trucks, ramp tractors and aircraft loading systems. Load/unload palletized freight using deck loaders, belly loaders, tugs, and forklifts to transport it between aircraft and airport terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft. Able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
Performing maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including changing filters, belts and verifying proper operation of equipment. Utilize phone apps to clock in and out, take photos and write up work orders for any equipment that needs repairs. Diagnose problems with compressors, fan motors, coils, etc. while making recommendations for repairs.
Performs duties related to the handling, counting, receipting for pick-up, transfer and delivery of all cargo (which includes handling express freight to and from aircraft to warehouse, and truck to warehouse, and into aircraft). Assisting ramp operations as required, with wing walking, push back, loading and off-loading accordingly to load plan. Perform warehouse functions such as cargo package handling; including moving, stacking, weighing, labeling, etc ; constructing and dismantling as necessary; duties related to loading and unloading of trucks, operate/check company vehicles, mechanized loading equipment; drive company automotive equipment for transporting of cargo packages.
