About

I am an experienced Actuarial Analyst with exposure to personal lines motor, household and travel insurance pricing, commercial property and casualty. I am a specialist in DUA pricing in commercial lines. I have proven capability in helping to maintain profitability through monitoring key performance indicators, making pricing decisions and product adjustments. Tangible examples of this include; identifying anti selection risks to bring loss making accounts to breakeven and fixing errors in pricing algorithms to stop premium leakage. I am able to communicate in a clear and concise manner to negotiate with business stakeholders in order to agree effective pricing solutions. For instance, speaking to underwriters about concerns on projected loss ratios and suggested ways we can deal with over optimistic projections or remediation plans.  I am the go-to person in my team to train and develop new joiners, enabling them to settle in with the team and the company better and quicker. This is something I’ve taken pride in and enjoy doing, encouraging others to shine.  I am a team player who focuses on more than analytics and I am now confident that I am ready for the next step in my career.
