In my 17+ year career in games, I’ve had the incredible good fortune to steward multiple genre-defining, billion dollar franchises; lead hundreds of the industry’s most talented developers and publishers; and most importantly, impact the lives of hundreds of millions of deeply engaged and passionate players, around the globe. I’ve built and operated diverse, high-performing organizations at large scale, led the creation of some the industry’s most valuable IP, and been responsible for tens of billions in lifetime revenue. I have deep expertise spanning both AAA console development and F2P GAAS and a proven record of strong results as both a strategist and an operator. Over the last 7 years, I played a key leadership role on League of Legends - one of the most successful games and esports of all time - first as Gameplay Lead, then as Executive Producer, and finally as Executive Vice President of the League franchise. During my tenure, League achieved record actives, engagement and revenue, breaking new milestones even after a decade in operation. In addition to my core responsibilities on League, I also served on Riot’s executive team, and was a member of Riot’s R&D and global esports councils. I believe games as an entertainment medium are uniquely suited to bring people together for shared experiences that enrich their lives. I believe thinking for the long-term, having an outside-in orientation to one’s audience, and empowering the frontline are fundamental components to building a company that endures. I believe players are smart, discerning and creative, and that being at war with the games industry on their behalf is still a war very much worth fighting.
