As Corporate head of Organization Development & Training, the mission was to systematically align the resources represented by all levels of employees. Designing Performance Management Systems across a broad spectrum of corporation activity, the role specified interventions in selection, skills & knowledge, engineering/environmental, and motivation. The clients were typically business unit heads (Vice-President and C-level executives) who had a clear or not-so-clear vision for their respective organizations. Duties also included analysis, design, and development of instructional systems with an evidence-base. Major functions included: A. Organization Development: Consulted with business unit heads to help them get their resources aligned with the corporate goals. . B. Human Performance Development: Established policies and procedures for Instructional design (training) throughout the corporation. C. Standardized training practices for analysis, design, development and evaluation. Transitioned the training department into a full-service human performance improvement department. D. Developing procedures and practices for On-The-Job Training (OJT) and real-time learning. This helped to eliminate much of the expense of going"off-site" to attend a training session that could be quickly developed in-house.
