I have been in the Transportation Field in almost every position, since 1999. I served in the US Army, and a Desert Storm Vet. I love spending time with my family and newly grandson.
I am in charge of maintaining an under 30 day pay for our customers, I also do Owner/Operator payroll on a weekly basis, I invoice several customers on a daily basis, make deposits, help with the maintenance files for our shop and input the services done into the AS400, Various other duties as assigned.
My responsibilities included finding carriers for loads that were given to us by customers. This included tracking the trucks, brokering, and setting the appointments for the stops.
My responsibilities include dispatching the local drivers to pickup product from various shippers and delivering it. Also, dealt with customers on da daily basis and scheduled appointments.
My responsibilities included managing 6 billers, and the detention on customers. I was responsible for bid packages and submitting them. Providing customers with rates. Maintaining the fuel surcharge for customers. Ensured driver's submitted paperwork in a timely manner. Worked closely with Sales to meet the needs of the customers. Research and solve billing issues, accounts receivable issues and any complaints from customers.
