I have fifteen years of experience preparing chemistry teaching lab experiments and managing a chemistry stockroom. In my current position, I manage a small team consisting of a stockroom technician and student assistants in order to meet the needs of the chemistry department at St. Olaf College. I maintain the chemical and supply inventories and I am also responsible for purchasing chemicals/supplies/equipment/instruments for the stockroom and teaching and research laboratories. I have been a member of the National Association of Scientific Materials Managers organization for ten years and I volunteer my time in many ways for the betterment of the organization.
