On call support role during the winter season for snow clearance operations.
Responsible for the tactical delivery of the Airside Works Plan, supporting the strategic management of the broader Works Schedule. Accountabilities: Planning of Airside Works, minimising impact on the day-to-day operation Chairing of Works Programme meetings Managing conflicts between internal and external contractors to ensure maximum opportunity for airfield works, minimising financial impact. Review and approval of works permits. Technical review and approval of applications for cranes and other tall construction equipment, ensuring the technical and physical safeguarding of Heathrow’s Obstacle Limitation Surfaces and Instrument Flight Procedures are maintained. Auditing of Internal and External contractors for quality and compliance.
The club experienced a sudden shortfall in management and after developing a passion for the club and members, the school Business Manager offered me the position as Sports & Leisure Manager. My main accomplishment was transforming the club into the first budget gym in the area, competing against ‘big name’ fitness centres. This saw a huge increase in members allowing us to fully re furbish the not for profit gym and swimming pool area. This job role was the place I learnt how to run and improve a business.
