Building a safety management system and pulling the safety culture on a higher level in the supply chain industry Policy: Advisory role to management on the policy on the storage of dangerous products in Belgium. Evaluation of the SEVESO III directive 2012/18/EU. Product: Acceptance of dangerous goods, procedures on intervention during leaks, training DHL personnel in SEVESO legislation and dangerous goods Safety Management System: Safety Handbook, training of emergency plan with different possible major incidents, developing a new SHE-checklist for monthly controls, introducing management of change, global prevention plan 2013-2017, action plan 2013 Environment: Advisory role to management for the new environmental permit
(environmental coordinator, ADR safety advisor, safety advisor) As an environmental coordinator to SHE-manager I built an environmental and safety policy in 10 locations and 1 SEVESO company resulting in a comprehensive approach.
