Country Coordinator Financial Assistance for Montenegro - Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) and Reform and Growth Facility (RGF), incl. previous responsibility for human capital development policy area Lead for acession negoatiations with Montenegro on thematic chapters: 19 - social policy and employment, 25 - science and research, 26 - education and culture (until Feb 2025) as well as 22 - regional policy and coordination of structural instruments and 33 - budgetary and financial provisions (continued) EU Investment support for Montenegro, in coordination with other relevant services, for public investments via blending under the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), EU guarantees (EFSD+) as well as for supporting mobilisation of private sector investments
Management of grant contract "Promoting Integration of Syrian Children into the Turkish Education System" (PICTES) with the Turkish Ministry of National Education Sector coordination with other EU Delegation colleagues and stakeholders such as EU humanitarian office (ECHO), UNICEF, UNHCR and non-governmental organisations
Coordination of EU pre-accession funds (IPA) programming for Turkey in close cooperation with the EU Deleagions`s operational sections, European Commission headquarters and the Turkish authorities Deputising management function for the cooperation section with 13 staff, participation in management meetings, inputs to management, monitoring and control planning and reporting Contract management of technical assistance contracts on sector budget support and sector approach programming; active participation in the EU Delegation`s gender working group Coordination and quality control of briefings, official communications and high-level mission preparations
Strategy development for future EU financial assistance under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistanct (IPA) in support of Turkey's reforms for EU accession. Programming of IPA assistance related to Transition Assistance and Institution Building, including review of and feedback on funding proposals, consultation and coordination with various stakeholders inside the EC as well as with Turkish administration and others. Coordination support to accession negotiations in the field of health and consumer protection.
Development of strategic processes to internationalise the organisation's recruitment of field staff; development of a traineeship programme for future peace workers. Initiating cooperation projects with other European peacebuilding NGOs, EU fundraising, consultancy on political advocacy issues, Steering Committee member of the European Network for Civil Peace Services (EN.CPS), representation of EN.CPS at the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO).
