• The Pilot Project for the Irrigation of Nam Kata (PPINK) is funded by the Government of Laos and Agency France de Development. Rehabilitation of the irrigation canals and the establishment of a sustainable management structure. • Construction supervision of a new weir and earthen dam across the Nam Kata River and the inspection of work on the reconstruction of more than 2,000 meters of new canals for the irrigation network valued at over US $ 2 million. Represents the SCP staff in monthly coordination meetings with senior Department of Irrigation Government officials at the National, Provincial and District levels. Liaises with the Resident Engineer, Project Site Manager and Contractor representatives. • Detailed construction supervision reports approved by the Team Leader and National Project Coordinator and containing recommendations for construction techniques, site safety, flood protection, project management and design realignments.
Team Leader on a $40 million Asian Development Bank integrated Infrastructure Program in Laos. Approximately 75 kilometers of secondary roads will be built or rebuilt during this project in order to properly access major tourist sites in the two northern provinces of Luang Prabang and Odoumxay and the central province of Kammouane. Working directly with the National Ministry Public Works and Information Culture and Tourism. FIDIC regulations adhered to and full transparency in design, bidding, and contracting and construction supervision. Manages a team of seven International Experts and 10 National Engineers. In addition to transport upgrades, environmental sanitation will also be improved.
Providing leadership, direction and organization for a large scale infrastructure and agricultural program proposal in Mindanao. Intensive field work in the seven targeted provinces - including Sultan Kudarat, North & South Cotabato and Lanao del Norte. Prioritizing rural infrastructure for rehabilitation and with links to agricultural output such as farm to market roads, bridges, water supply and irrigation systems. 27 municipalities will be included in the program.
Served as Team Leader for the audit of the Presidential Elections in Kabul, Afghanistan. Working along with the United Nations as well as the Afghan Independent Election Commission and local political parties to ensure the integrity of the first transition of democratic leadership in Afghanistan. This audit is the largest ever undertaken by the United Nations.
