• Creates machine and equipment standards for worldwide tyre curing production machinery. • Responsible for machine pre-inspection (at the supplier’s premises) and machine acceptance (in the plants). • Responsible for providing engineering support for greenfield and brownfield projects in Malaysia, Brazil, Ecuador, Russia, France, Portugal and the Czech Republic. • Member of the core team for Improvement of Safety at Curing Presses (ISCP) project. Responsible for creating the book of requirements and also a plant sponsor, supporting the plants with project issues. • Co-assignor in the Global Manufacturing Assignment (GMA) September 2014 Trainee Pool for the project entitled “Smart operations in the curing area”.
• Production planning manager, responsible for scheduling and putting into production all the orders for items to be manufactured. • Resource optimisation and time evaluation studies performed on all machinery with the goal of characterising the workers areas of responsibility. • Responsible and coordinator of the foremen of the production team. • Productivity optimisation, considering new plant and machinery layouts, and how to handle the processed material and product and material flow. • Efficiency audits, realised in different areas of the plant to ensure that the process flow determined by central quality is according to the defined guidelines. • In charge of 70 people, being responsible for Team Management, Resources Assignment and creating flexibility through ongoing employee training, allowing the workers to work across different production areas. • Responsible for implementing, and validating and managing a system for assessing employees work performance. • Responsible for repair and maintenance activities and introducing regular maintenance plans for all machinery under my responsibility.
