As the Americas Lead for WhatsApp's Public Sector Partnerships team, I led the onboarding of over 360 governments/NGOs onto WhatsApp's Business API. - Built and managed partnerships with high-priority government entities such as Presidencies, national Ministries, state governments, municipalities, electoral authorities, supreme courts, public companies, and others. Examples include: TSE (Brazilian Electoral Court), STF (Brazil Supreme Court), Argentina Presidency, Prefeitura do Recife, Defesa Civil Nacional, Governo de São Paulo, Tribunais Regionais Eleitorais, Buenos Aires city, & Mexico City. - Represented WhatsApp at meetings with key government stakeholders. - Expanded WhatsApp election playbook by onboarding Electoral Authorities throughout LATAM. - Managed the cross-functional team and government / civic API program in the Americas region, working closely with the central civic and programs teams. - Collaborated with the Meta government and social impact organizations across product, public policy, partnerships, Trust & Safety, comms, marketing, research, etc. as a part of a matrix structure. - Built and managed partnerships and programs driving consensus, particularly in a SaaS setting. - Advised/influenced on product policies, processes, & features related to civic clients.
