Greater Melbourne Area
Community West operates in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. It services the needs of the community by providing programs and support to Brimbank LGA residents with Adult Education, Family Programs and Community Legal Centre. It is my goal to provide a vibrant, engaging and fulfilling Adult Education program to CALD learners, older members of the community and disengaged learners. My desire is to enable participants to engage with the english language so families communicate and everyone can belong to the community.
Hi all, I have withdrawn from specific location employment for the present time. My enthusiasm for engaged, interactive learning for EAL and generalist Adult learners has not diminished. I am working to develop specific resources focusing on local government and the fantastic things they offer the community whilst incorporating all ACSF macros.
The key objectives to my role is to support the administration and continuous improvement of education programs at NMLL. Emphasis is on the development of assessment tools for accredited training and development of building skill sets for the delivery of pre and accredited training to Adult learners. Along with classroom delivery skill delvelopment, trainers will be assisted in being able to do moderation and validation of teaching and learning tasks and assessments.
Hi to all, I have switched my role at Community West. After a robust period of developing and defining Adult Education at Community West I am moving into developing the Neighbourhood House and Family Progams. The Adult Education program is now well established and providing great opportunities for CALD learners in Melbourne's Western suburbs. Community West has excellent relationships with local Refering Agencies within Job Services Australia and continues to porvide a stable LLN program. Community members within the Brimbank LGA have opportunities to access both pre and accredited training with Community West. My drive now is to build the Neighbourhood House. Engage more closely at the grass roots and provide a safe entry point for new and existing member of the community into interactive and socially engaging activities.
I coordinate a Federal Government Language and Literacy Program aimed at assisting migrants gain employment. The program develops learner profiles, language development and empolyabilty skills to meet the needs of employers in Melbourne's Western suburbs.
