Overseeing all L&D regionally in Basingstoke, Southampton, Andover, High Wycombe, Crawley, Bognor and Oxfordshire for Domiciliary reablement Extra Care employees. I oversee two trainers supporting their personal learning and development. My role includes ensuring that all training delivered is current and relevant. Developed an outline for a fully inclusive internal development program for employees to have access to robust opportunities in further development from entry to management levels. Have completed first two levels, which are accompanied with Criteria and Evidence for managers to follow, on-job competencies, workshops for Supervisors. Training includes the Care Certificate, Mental Capacity Act for Supervisors, Refresher Training, health and safety infection control to name just a few that have been rewritten and updated. Other projects include mental health, dementia, tissue viability, food hygiene and spillages. an induction for a rehab centre which included specialist topics such as acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, autism, positive behaviour support.
