      My big focus for 2019 is to support our clients as they work to get their organisations "match fit" to maximise the benefits of the impending reforms. I was brought into DWF by Nigel Teasdale and Paul Berry to help DWF analyse and respond to changes in the Claimant market post LASPO. Five years on we are already seeing new business models emerge in preparation for 2020. The current disrupted market brings both threats and opportunities and myself and the team at DWF will continue to ensure that our clients are ready for the challenge. Exciting times !

      I work for DWF solicitors, consultancy services as a claims management specialist. My background is in claimant law and insurance management. My particular areas of expertise are motor claims and counter fraud. I work in multi-disciplinary teams with my colleagues in the DWF technical claims, predictive analytics and intelligence/investigation teams. I often work in house and I have recently spent three months with one client as their interim head of fraud. My areas of specialism include the investigation of company’s business models. I work with our internal counter fraud investigations, and forensic accounting teams to build in-depth profiles of companies and their directors. I have also led a three year project investigating rehabilitation models, and I am involved in on-going pre-litigation strategies around credit hire and whiplash validation. I work closely with Nigel Teasdale DWF head of Motor and Lorraine Carolan National head of counter fraud.

At the heart of innovation is a deep understanding of the market and of our clients and I spend a lot of my time within our clients operations, getting under the skin of their organisation and working collaboratively with their key people to develop bespoke solutions.
