👋 Hello and welcome! I’m a biomedical scientist specializing in immuno-nutrition, nutri-psychiatry, and gut–brain–liver axis research. My mission is to translate complex biomedical research into practical, real-world solutions for fatigue, burnout, emotional eating, obesity, post-COVID complications, and mental health challenges. 🔬 Currently, I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the GEMMAIR Research Group (IISPV, Spain), where I co-lead international clinical studies on psycho-metabolic disorders in bariatric patients. My research focuses on identifying microbiota- and gene-based biomarkers that help us better understand and support patients struggling with depression, MASLD, and metabolic syndromes. My background includes academic and clinical research at: • APC Microbiome Ireland (UCC) – exploring psychobiotics and the gut-brain axis • Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (Barcelona) – focusing on long-COVID and chronic fatigue • Ulster University (UK) – conducting autoimmune, toxicology, and nutrition-focused studies Beyond the lab, I work as a clinical consultant for wellness startups, NGOs, and medical clinics, developing nutritional strategies and supplement protocols tailored to individuals with post-viral fatigue, burnout, hormonal imbalances, and emotional eating. 📚 I’m the evidence-based book author: • Dietotherapy for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome • Psychodietetics for Everyone: practical guide to improve your relationship with food. Both are rooted in my research and clinical work, aiming to empower practitioners and patients with actionable insights. 💡 My key interests include: • Gut–brain–liver health and psychoneuroimmunology • Neuroinflammation and post-COVID fatigue • MASLD, insulin resistance, diabetes, and emotional eating • Functional and evidence-based supplementation • Translational biomarker research • Food-mood connection, diet coaching, and psychoeducation 🏆 My work has been recognized by: • Forbes & McKinsey 25under25 (Poland) • Ambassador of Polish Innovation (Poland) • Royal Society of Biology Outreach Award (UK) I’m passionate about bridging science, clinical practice, and public education. Whether it's through webinars, media work, or co-developing supplements, I aim to help others eat, think, and live better starting with the gut. 🤝 Let’s connect if you’re working in: • Health tech or supplement innovation • Public health and science communication • Clinical research on metabolic, endocrine, or mental health • Education around nutrition and well-being Together, we can turn science into solutions that matter.

Rola Post-doc w Zakładzie Biostatystyki i Medycyny Translacyjnej Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Łodzi. Obecne prowadzone projekty obejmują tematykę dotyczącą diagnostyki depresji pediatrycznej; analizy czynników ryzyka pacjentów pediatrycznych z cukrzycą typu 1 i spektrum ADHD (badanie wieloośrodkowe); a także poszukiwania nowych markerów - cholezyny w celu diagnostyki i leczenia pacjentów z zaburzeniami lipidowymi. -
