My name is Joanna Kolodziej, and I am the Associate Director at S&P Global Data Excellence & Partnership. I graduated from the University of Gdańsk in 2006 with a master’s degree in foreign languages and a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management. I began my career at Global Insight Inc. in 2006 as an analyst focusing on macroeconomic and financial data. Following the expansion of our databases for the Middle East and Africa region, I took on the role of managing the Macroeconomic Data team for that region. In 2022, I started heading Risk Intelligence Events, and in 2023, I took on the operational leadership of Marine Casualty Events. These experiences have given me the confidence to embrace new challenges, step outside my comfort zone, and build strong relationships within our company. Currently, I am part of the Enterprise Data Global Markets Stewardship team, where I oversee critical Economic and Country Risk datasets. I’m closely collaborating with Market Intelligence business serving as a REST API/Snowflake content support. This role is essential for ensuring that our company maintains best-in-class data that delivers maximum value to our clients. I am known for my friendliness and enthusiasm for my work. Since 2018, I have also served as the site leader for the Gdańsk office, representing our site and supporting office management. I live in the beautiful city of Gdańsk, Poland, with my husband and three daughters. I truly value the time spent with my family. My passions include traveling, reading, gardening, and learning foreign languages—currently French, which I find particularly interesting.
