Some of my responsibilities are: - Attending and sometimes holding sales meetings with potential customers - Drive Proof of Concepts with potential and existing customers - Keeping knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest technology and products to be able to deliver fast and accurate responses to customer queries - Respond to Customer RFPs/RFQs - Attend meetings and deliver implementation roadmaps for cross-sell/up-sell to existing customers - Working closely with the sales team as well as R&D and the field technicians to be able to deliver up-to-standard solutions to our customers - Hold product training for customers
As a technical consultant I perform installations, technical implementations, taylor-made solutions and also act as a technical advisor for our customers and partners in regards to our products. This is either performed on-site at the customer, or through remote connection. I work very closely with the other departments in the Nordic and Global offices, including support, sales, pre-sales and partner responsible. I my line of work, I am also a part of many POC:s, or Proof of Concepts. This means that we, in a start-up project together with potential customers, help them to set up a target and success criteria about where they want to get with our product. Once we have agreed to these success criteria, we prove this functionality to said customer. This will later on be a template for a possible deal, to get the customer on board.
