- Provide leadership and support to the strategy and transformation function - Lead or contribute to the development of strategies and plans which deliver the West Yorkshire ICB priorities, and wider NHS and partnership priorities for the region - Deputise for the Deputy Director of Strategy and Partnerships leading on programmes of work where needed - Collaborate with colleagues across health and care to create the conditions in West Yorkshire ICB for a vibrant, thriving, and resilient VCSE which supports our communities to live well, stay well and recover well, reducing health inequalities and improving population health outcomes - Lead work around Volunteering across all partners in West Yorkshire including co producing a volunteering strategy and underpinning principles - Prepare and analyse complex information and produce reports to support discussions at Partnership Board and WY ICB Board and other decision making forums - Support connectivity and collaboration between places and at West Yorkshire level in all strategy and transformation work, acting as convener and facilitator and ensuring all parts of the system are informed on the strategic direction and working towards it - Lead the West Yorkshire ICB VCSE Strategic Alliance (currently known as the Power of Communities Board), working alongside strategic VCSE leads across the system and at place to shape and deliver programme priorities - Work with finance colleagues to strengthen local approaches to procurement and commissioning increasing inclusion and access for the VCSE - Collaborate with other ICS’s and at national level with NHSE/I, NAVCA, NCVO etc around VCSE engagement, learning, sharing best practice, and shaping national policy - Act as a Tactical Commander as part of the West Yorkshire Emergency Response on call system
