Charged with Audio Visual technology installations on the campus of Georgia Southern University. Responsible for all AV projects for the enterprise (Academics, Athletics, Auxiliary Services, Business and Finance, Executive, and Student Affairs. In this role I managed one other AV Engineer. Responsible for the management and operation of the campus CATV system. Involved with all AV projects end to end; concept, design, cost estimation, quotation, purchasing, installation, programming, training, maintenance and trouble shooting. Manage and execute in house AV system design, installation, and programming. Determine which AV projects will go out to bid by AV integration firms
Managed two full time Classroom Support technicians and five part time student employee support technicians. Project manager for AV projects in the areas of Academic Affairs. Managed AV projects with budgets up to and in excess of $1M. Insure that projects were executed on time and within budget. AV system design and programming. Managed implementation and operation of Crestron Fusion RV Server. Managed campus digital signage platform. Managed campus lecture capture server and related hardware. Managed campus VTC systems, including travel to set up remote VTC sites for graduation of student athletes engaged in competition missing the on campus ceremony.
Police Officer. Respond to calls for service, patrol, detect, deter criminal activity. Enforce traffic laws, issue citations for violations of GA State Code and/or city ordinances. Gather evidence, question individuals, etc. Serve as agency TAC Officer, Terminal Agency Coordinator, responsible for agency connections to GCIC and NCIC systems, and insuring that individuals accessing information were duly trained and certified to do so.
