As a member of a global incident detection and response team in the Banking Sector, my current responsibilities are: • Created frameworks by designing and developing technical solutions. • Coordination of incident response activities with other groups Performed network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems. • Identified, analyzed and resolved infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. • Perform ongoing, monthly audits of infrastructure for vulnerabilities • Working with AWS/Azure infrastructure • Development of use cases, event parsing, correlations, alerts, SIEM security event reporting and definition of operations in case of security incidents. • Knowledge and experience implementing or integrating general application security API's and protocols and IDM systems such as Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SAML, OAuth, SSO, etc • Develop queries to Hunt threats in different XDR tools • Work on improvements including the development of new tools, automation, and integration • Knowledge of and experience implementing PKI systems
• Developed and maintained incident response protocols to mitigate damage and liability during security breaches. • Created cybersecurity best practice communications to educate staff against known threats and potential vectors of attack. • Designed company-wide policies to bring operations in line with Center for Internet Security (CIS) standards. • Authored security incident reports, highlighting breaches, vulnerabilities and remedial measures. • Defined cloud architecture for both hybrid and non-hybrid cloud solutions. • Provided solution designs to meet system strategies, capabilities and technologies and to respond to current and future business requirements.
