While a member of CPD some of my responsibilities included assessing and measuring the effectiveness of crime strategies implemented by the Chicago Police Department (CompStat). Part of my duties also including identifying emerging crime problems requiring additional Department resources, monitoring the development and application of the Chicago Alternate Policing Strategy (CAPS); making recommendations about the effective deployment of field units and monitored that deployment and conducting audits and inspections to determine compliance with Department policy.
Created the agency's enterprise social media presence by launching a website and establishing a Facebook page to improve transparency and deliver updates to the community Partnered in building a regional tactical team response (FIAT) covering roughly 300,000 residents in Cook and DuPage (Illinois).
