Tokyo, Japan
I'm half-Japanese, native in English and fluent in Japanese. I spent the first 22 years of my life in San Diego, California, and decided to move to Tokyo after graduating. I’m currently working to grow Zscaler and disrupt the Cloud Security industry in Japan. At it's heart, my job is to find and hire the current and future superstars in cloud security. I've been on all sides of the table: An agency recruiter, a talent acquisition professional, and of course, a candidate. I understand the highs and lows that candidates go through to move to the next step in their careers. Since starting my career, I’ve developed a passion for helping build a happy team and a great work culture. It’s my goal to try to help people acknowledge the potential within themselves and be able to communicate that effectively during their interview process to give them the best chance to succeed with Zscaler. On a personal level, I’m a huge Baseball fan (LFGSD) and a Mexican food lover. I love learning about tech, astronomy, and psychology in my spare time, and doing anything sports or gaming related. From an early age, I’ve been quite competitive and love building things, whether it's building the best robot out of Legos as a child, or building the ultimate Diamond Dynasty team in MLB The Show.
