About

Throughout my career, I have maintained a passion for working with data to uncover meaningful insights. I've applied this interest across a variety of settings - analyzing patterns in large scale health datasets, creating reports to inform decision making, and mentoring peers in technical and analytical approaches. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of data to guide strategy, improve systems, and answer complex questions. I have built my skill set by applying a strong foundation in statistical programming to a wide range of projects. For example, I created geospatial overlays to identify community based organizations most at risk from natural disasters and investigated potential clustering of self-harming behavior using emergency department data. I have also supported avian influenza surveillance, developed comprehensive county-level health reports to guide decision-making, and analyzed the clustering of infectious diseases through geospatial methods. Across these experiences, I have learned that data analysis is only as valuable as the clarity with which it is communicated. I am continually seeking opportunities to learn, adapt, and expand my expertise. With a strong background in both analysis and communication, I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to any role involving data-driven decision-making.
