•Manage the entire escrow process for purchase deals and closings including, but not limited to, leading pre-closing calls and coordination with escrow, title, and seller(s). •Prepare a critical issues memorandum summarizing relevant issues and concerns (including, but not limited to, design, construction, and legal matters) related to this review. •Manage a portfolio of complex lease and purchase deals and provides broad support on all due diligence matters to real estate attorneys, real estate managers, design managers and project managers (RD Team). •May mentor and train new or entry-level paralegals. •Continuously manage and track various deadlines and milestones related to contingencies in our Purchase and Sale Agreements and Lease Agreements, tracks permit ready dates and potential commencement of construction, and sends updates to the RD Team and real estate attorneys regularly.
•Proficiency in apply the court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts; •Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records; •Well-developed writing and research skills; •Experience in drafting pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence; •The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people; •The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identify problems and finding solutions; •Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume workload; and •Experience is managing electronic and paper filing systems.
•Communicate with the medical providers and clients on behalf of the attorney; •Work alongside other departments to aid in communication; •Process applications and file records; •Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy; •Adept typing, word-processing, and data entry skills; and •Verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
