- Joined the McKinsey Digital Labs and Application Development team as a Product Manager. Started in Alumni application that was waiting to be launched for years. Took it as a challenge with a competitive global team and launched it in 6 months by giving day and night. - Automated the usage statistics creation and brought in the culture of continuous analysis leveraging tools like Omniture, Heap, Tableau and even Excel through queries. - Expert in Agile Development, up-skilled multiple teams at McKinsey. - Invited to multiple conferences as a Product and Agile expert. - Started my McKinsey Digital Labs client projects after that. Soon the firm decided to split the two functions. McKinsey Digital Labs and Application Development. - Impressed with the sincerity, knowledge and performance, I was offered a India Hub lead role for Application Development where I became a part of the Application Development Global Leadership team. - Worked as an Application Development India Hub lead to expand the team, expanded the team from 15 full time to ~70 full time hires in my role. - Started as a Business Analyst for a software development team of an Insurance Product. - Collaborated with business SMEs and teams in Ireland and United States of America for Product Development and Delivery. Multiple long trips to Boston. - Was gifted early promotions and climbed the ladder to a lead role where I handled complex Insurance projects with stakeholders spanning across the globe. - 6 years focused on Products in Annuities and Group Insurance world. - Multiple awards for the performance, as well as an enthusiastic participant in organising floor activities. - Started and executed one of the most well received knowledge sharing sessions. - Engaged, Learnt and Executed Information Architecture and User Research to learn the craft and empathise with User Experience teams. - Actively played for a short duration the Quality Tester role along side the QA team to learn the craft and empathise with the team. - FLMI Certified, wrote and cleared the last paper a day before delivering my child. - Seeing my performance, my leaders gifted me work from home and other flexibilities to seamlessly continue merely weeks after my child was born. I didn't have parental support so needed that. - This role came via a reference, learnt a lot, grew immensely and then came the McKinsey Opportunity. The role, the learning, the team and the growth was promising so decided to move on.
- Hired as a developer via Campus Recruitment. - Hands-on coding in Java, C/C++ and Visual Basic - Won award for building a tool to automate a manual screen building process. More than 150 screens were to be built. The tool reduced the time to build each screen from 3 days to half a day on an average. - Travelled to multiple cities in United States of America with the Pre-Sales team. I was a part of NCS, a Corporate Actions product, where I accompanied the team for Pre-Sales as well as executed the needs by hands-on coding. Was offered onsite opportunities as well as Pre-Sales role during the tenure. - Enjoyed Business Analysis alongside coding so took a plunge to try a new role. - NCFM Certified, credible certifaction for Corporate Actions.
