Apply user-centered design processes to create, evaluate, and modify designs and prototypes in support of web development and producing communications. Administrates websites and digital services the Institute operates.

• Oversee and analyze operational activities in the areas of facilities, space planning, event planning, procurement, and communications to maintain a functioning administrative system within the University of California • Assist with project management for a Department of Energy research grant, including purchasing, accounts payable activities, budget tracking, and inventory and field deployment logistics • Create and maintain complex spreadsheets for 50+ research projects and coordinate with universities, colleges, and private vendors to ensure compliance with budget and policy • Lead departmental IT initiatives, and provide hardware and software support to 20+ staff members • Draft program for annual conference and compose official invitation letters for speakers and guests • Work with technical specialists to edit and format final draft of report for $2.5M California Energy Commission research project
• Vetted new HRMS platform and implemented transition from paper filing system in order to improve record-keeping and streamline onboarding process • Managed recruitment process by drafting job descriptions, posting openings to job boards and university-specific recruiting portals, screening applicants, and onboarding new staff members • Corresponded with government entities, insurance providers, contractors, and attorneys to resolve project-related issues • Monitored company financial accounts, produced expense reports, and processed payments • Composed memos and newsletters; drafted leases, work agreements, and business proposals; edited company blogs
• Collaborated with 5 marketing staff members to devise and execute publicity strategy for new monthly after-hours event, which opened to 600+ visitors in one night • Performed research on leading Disney historians and compiled findings into a brief which was used in planning for future special programs and blog posts • Drafted and edited press releases for dispersal through various media channels
